Live Fashion Illustration at Ferragamo

On Valentine’s Day, I had to joy of bringing fashion illustration to life inside the iconic Ferragamo San Francisco boutique. Surrounded by beautiful leather bags and quiet elegance the brand is known for, I was invited to create live, hand-painted illustrations for clients shopping in-store.

Throughout the day, guests selected their favorite Ferragamo bags and stepped in front of my table, where within minutes, they received a custom fashion illustration of themselves.

Illustrating memorable moments

One of the most memorable moments was illustrating a family of four. First, I painted the mother and her son. Then, the father with their second son. Each portrait captured not just their outfits and Ferragamo accessories, but their essence and subtle gestures.

When I handed the finished paintings to them, the mother’s reaction echoed throughout the store. She was visibly moved, almost in tears. She and her husband shared how grateful they were and how truly memorable this day was. They told me the portraits were going straight into frames at home.

Reactions like these are why bespoke experiences are so powerful. It’s a memory created in real time that clients can hold onto. Emotion is what people truly seek; it’s how they connect, how they remember, and how an experience becomes meaningful.
