About The Conservatory at One Sansome in San Francisco

The Conservatory at One Sansome is a newly renovated event space in the heart of San Francisco. It offers a beautiful indoor-outdoor feel with its glass atrium and expansive layout. This 16,000-square-foot venue has hosted many luxurious and sophisticated events.

Transforming The Conservatory

Jackie from Jackie Rose Events envisioned and designed this styled shoot. She approached me with the idea of creating the stationery and I immediately fell in love with the concept. We were able to create amazing custom stationery pieces that complimented the overall design perfectly.

Since florals were central to the design, I aimed to incorporate them into the stationery in a way that wouldn’t overshadow the actual flowers on the day. To achieve this, I used vellum to accent the invitations and menus, adding a subtle detail.

I wanted to demonstrate that calligraphy details can extend beyond paper, so I designed a custom calligraphy monogram, which we added to:

bar napkins
cotton table napkins
petal toss cones
hand-painted bar

These touches elevated the event details and tied everything together for a cohesive and tailored look. Beyond that, I engraved the perfume bottle with calligraphy.

The idea was to bring spring indoors and have the juxtaposition of greenery and florals inside this modern venue. We were able to add warmth to the venue with the color palette of warm spring greenery, coral, and lavender. During the evening, the lights added the perfect ambiance.

The custom floral arches truly brought the indoor outdoor vision to life. It completely transformed the space.
