Spring Floral Styled Shoot – The Conservatory at One Sansome

Modern and romantic spring wedding in the heart of San Francisco – published in California Wedding Day

This styled shoot idea was dreamed up by Jackie from Jackie Rose Events. She brought this vision to me and asked if I wanted to create the stationery and signage. I immediately fell in love with the idea and we were able to create amazing pieces that complimented the overall design perfectly.

Since florals were the main focus of the design, I wanted to incorporate that into the stationery without taking away from the actual flowers the day-of. Using vellum to accent the invitations and menus was a great way to add that subtle yet noticeable detail. I added calligraphy

I wanted to showcase that calligraphy details can go beyond paper, so I created a calligraphy monogram that was added to the square bar napkins, cotton table napkins, petal toss cones, and the hand-painted bar. It elevated the details and tied everything together for that true custom tailored event. I added the calligraphy engraving name to the bride’s perfume.

The idea was to bring spring indoors and have the juxtaposition of greenery and florals inside this modern venue in the heart of busy San Francisco. We were able to add warmth to the venue with the chosen color palette of warm spring greenery, coral, and lavender. During the evening, the lights added the perfect ambiance. The Conservatory at One Sansome is a newly renovated event space. It offers a beautiful outdoor indoor feel with its glass atrium and grand space. It was the perfect venue to execute the design idea Jackie thought of.

The custom floral arches truly brought the indoor outdoor vision to life. It completely transformed the space.
